British Birds

Britain's location on the north-western edge of Europe gives it a diverse bird fauna, as the country lies on a major migration route between the Arctic and mainland Europe.  Each season has its own range of typical species, from Arctic specialities in the winter, to African migrants in the summer.  In total, over 400 species are regularly recorded.

My bird photography results are sadly not the best, as I have to get by with a small (200mm) zoom lens - maybe one day I'll save up a small fortune to invest in something better!
